W.R. Grace has submitted a permit to the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) to put a chemical plastic incineration pilot project right next to our neighborhoods, green spaces, schools, parks, farms, and the Middle Patuxent Environmental Area (MPEA) here in Howard County.

This would have a tremendous, negative impact on our communities, including the health and safety of our families, on our waterways, and the species that thrive in these areas. Home values also typical decrease in neighborhoods located next to facilities like these. Howard County families & residents and our surrounding green spaces, farms, and parklands deserve better.
